When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

Today, I came across this quote:

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you? The two are so, so different. One is an infinite consciousness capable of being and creating whatever it chooses, the other is an illusion imprisoned by its own perceived and programmed limitations.

My answer to these questions:

When I look in the mirror, I see me. I see an almost 50 years old woman who loves life and who is extremely grateful for all that life has given to her.

Each life experience, good or bad, has thought me something about myself. Some life experiences have helped me develop my character, others have allowed me to connect with people, and get to know them. Some life experiences have made me cry while others have brought immense joy to my life.

Of course, there are many things that I may want to change regarding my external appearance; I would love to be taller and have blue eyes! But, I am who I am, and I am very happy with who I am inside. So, when I look in the mirror, I usually like what I see!

What about you, what do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you like what you see?
